Für die Kollektion “my my is my castle” ließ sich die österreichische Designerin Angela Wiedermann a.k.a. modern matyr vom hikikomori Phänomen inspirieren. Dieses Phänomen beschreibt eine Form sozialen Rückzugs, der an japanischen Kindern beobachtet wurde. Diese leben im umgekehrten Rhythmus - sie schlafen tagsüber, wachen abends auf, um dann die ganze Nacht Videospiele zu spielen oder fern zu sehen. Angela Wiedermann interessierte sich besonders für den Rückzug in eine Traumwelt, in der sich die Kinder isolieren.
Die Kleidung selber erinnert an Schlafanzüge, wattiert und in pastell gehalten, oder an die Uniformen und Overalls, die in psychiatrischen Kliniken getragen werden. Die einzelnen Teile der Kollektion gibt es in drei Materialien - shibori Seide, Baumwolle und wattierte Baumwolle.

The collection “my my is my castle” from austrian designer Angela Wiedermann a.k.a. modern matyr is inspired by the so called hikikomori phenomen, which terms a form of social withdrawal observed on japanese kids. These kids live in reverse, they sleep all day, and wake up in the evening to spend the whole night playing videogames or watching television. Angela Wiedermann was especially interested in the regressive retreat to a dreamworld, in which the kids isolate themselves.

The clothing itself refers to traditional nightwear as well as for example the jumpsuits or smocks worn in a psychiatric clinic. The pieces are made from different materials such as shibori silk (a traditional japanese silk), cotton and lined cotton.

Seit 3 Tagen ist ‘Ice ice baby!’ in den Kölner Vierteln unterwegs und versorgt uns mit einer fantastischen Auswahl an Eissorten, wie zum Beispiel Mango-Minze, Indian Chai, Holunder-Joghurt oder Sanddorn-Honig. Ebenso ungewöhnlich wie die Eissorten ist, dass es demnächst ein veganes ‘Milcheis’ geben wird. So können Leute, die keine Milch vertragen, oder bewußt darauf verzichten, ebenfalls in den Genuß von Bioeis kommen.

3 days ago ‘ice ice baby!‘ hit the roads of cologne and provides us with fantastic varieties of icecream such as mango-mint, indian chai, elderflower-yogurt and sallow thorn-honey.
Norbert is also developing a vegan ‘milk’-icecream which will let people, who cannot or don’t want to eat milk, experience the tasty organic icecream.
